Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 2026. We keep this plain English — no legal jargon.

installagent.ai is based in Nashville, Tennessee. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit installagent.ai, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Company name (optional)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • The message you send us

We only collect what you choose to share. Nothing is required beyond a name and email.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, Google Analytics collects anonymized data including which pages you visited, how long you spent on the site, your general location (country/region), and the browser and device type you used. IP addresses are anonymized — we cannot identify you from this data.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you send us to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Provide the services you requested
  • Send relevant follow-up communication about your project

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are popular, where people come from, and how they navigate. This helps us improve the site.

Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data and operates under Google's Privacy Policy. If you prefer to opt out entirely, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Contact Form Data

Form submissions on this site are processed through Netlify Forms. When you submit a form, Netlify stores the data on their servers and forwards a copy to our email inbox.

We retain form submissions for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and any follow-up. We do not retain your data indefinitely — if you ask us to delete it, we will.

Netlify's data handling is covered by their Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this site. Each has its own privacy policy:

We do not share your personal information with any of these services beyond what is needed for them to function.

6. Data Security

This site uses HTTPS encryption. Our hosting infrastructure (Netlify) follows industry-standard security practices including access controls and encrypted storage.

No system is 100% secure. If you have a sensitive matter, you're always welcome to reach out directly at hello@installagent.ai.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@installagent.ai. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Tennessee Residents (TIPA)

If you're a Tennessee resident, you have rights under the Tennessee Information Protection Act (TIPA), effective July 1, 2025:

  • Right to Know — you can confirm whether we are processing your personal information and request access to it
  • Right to Delete — you can request that we delete the personal information you provided to us
  • Right to Correction — you can request that we correct inaccurate personal information
  • Right to Data Portability — you can request a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format
  • Right to Opt Out — you can opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information or engage in targeted advertising

To submit a TIPA request, email hello@installagent.ai with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days. If we need an extension, we'll notify you within that period. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing us with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. We won't notify you by email of routine updates, but any material changes will be clearly noted.
